Terms of Use

What using Glassinvenice means

Reading this blog, following its tips or quoting its pages means you accept the terms below. They cover how you may use writing about Murano glass, Venice exhibitions and life in the city. Questions can go to [email protected].

Information, not professional or travel guarantees

These pages offer general information and personal opinion about glass, shows and the city. Opening hours, ticket rules, exhibition dates, transport timetables, tide forecasts and visitor regulations in Venice change often, so confirm them with the museum, organiser or authority before you travel. Comments on glass quality, authenticity or value are not appraisals and do not guarantee that any piece is genuine or worth a given price. Nothing here is legal, financial or safety advice, and you are responsible for your own plans, purchases and conduct while visiting.

Who owns the content

The articles, page design and original photographs on Glassinvenice remain with the operator unless a credit says otherwise. You may read the pages, quote a short passage with a clear mention of Glassinvenice and share the address. Copying complete pieces, republishing them or using them in a commercial product requires written permission.

Using the site properly

Do not attempt to breach the blog’s security, flood it with automated requests, insert harmful code or use it to send spam or unlawful material. We may limit access when that is needed to protect the blog and its readers.

What you send us

When you email a correction, a photo description or a topic idea, you confirm you may share it. You allow us to read it and to use the idea to improve the blog, with no obligation to reply or to publish it.

Advertising, affiliate links and glass shops elsewhere

The blog may show advertising and may include affiliate links, which can earn the operator a commission at no added cost to you. A commission never decides which glassmaker, show or neighbourhood gets praised. Pages here may point to glassmakers, galleries, museums, ticket sellers, accommodation or transport services in Venice. Those sites are outside the control of Glassinvenice, and we cannot vouch for their prices, stock, bookings or what they publish. Before paying a workshop or booking a visit, check the seller’s own conditions yourself.

Warranties and liability

Glassinvenice is provided in its current state, without a promise that it will always be reachable. As far as the law permits, the operator does not promise that it will be accurate, complete or uninterrupted, and is not liable for loss arising from using it or relying on its articles, including a purchase or a trip planned from them. Rights you hold under mandatory law, and any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, stay untouched by these terms.

Changes and severability

We may alter these terms or the blog at any time, and revised terms apply once published. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
